Using the Vehicle

When receiving your vehicle, please inspect it in order to find any possible damage or shortcomings. If any occur, or if the rental car is not in accordance with your reservation, please inform an ABC Rent employee of these immediately.

Our employees are happy to help you get acquainted with your vehicle and give travel directions. As an extra service, ABC Rent may provide you with a GPS navigation device to help find your way in foreign surroundings with ease. You may order the car to be delivered to your door for an additional fee.

The vehicle may only be used in the territory specified by the contract. To use the rental car outside the said territory, please contact ABC Rent. Permitting travel to other areas/countries depends on the country in question as well as the make of the vehicle. When permitting travel to other countries, ABC Rent will note said countries and confirm permission to cross the border(s).

We hope that you will use the rental car in a prudent manner. Please do not drive in conditions unsuitable for the vehicle. Please do drive within permitted speed limits and park only in designated areas. In any claims against us we shall act in accordance with the law, the contract and general terms and conditions of the car rental agreement in holding the Renter liable to compensate any possible damage, fines and charges.

If you are in an accident or encounter a problem with your vehicle, please contact ABC Rent by the telephone number specified with your car rental contract +372 6747780 or +372 6747781. You must always fill out the form ”Accident Report”, where you must write down all aspects of the accident. If any aspects or procedures seem unclear, always contact the police.

It is possible to extend your car rental period if no other reservations have been made to the vehicle in question. You will be charged for the extra rental period in accordance to the ABC Rent car rental price list.

The rental car must be returned by the time and date specified in the car rental agreement. For each hour of delay, ABC Rent will charge you 20% of a day’s rental fee. If the rental car is returned more than five hours late, ABC Rent will charge you an extra day’s rent.

All vehicles are rented with a full tank. Please make a note of the fuel suitable for the vehicle. Please do not refill the tank in an unfamiliar gas station. The vehicle must be returned with a full tank. If the Client returns the vehicle with less than a full tank, ABC Rent will charge the Client 1.5 times the cost of each missing litre of fuel, in accordance to the current price list in Neste Estonia petrol stations.

We offer the following additional accessories to your rental car: children’s car safety seats, light-weight trailers, ski frames, bicycle racks and GPS devices. THESE ADDITIONAL ACCESSORIES MUST BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE.
